WebWeaver® Education: Platforms for training providers
WebWeaver® Education is a cost-effective standard solution for web-based learning and working. It can be easily adapted to different goals and methods and be adjusted to the corporate design of the training provider.
WebWeaver® Education provides a complete learning management system for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of online courses. An easy-to-use authoring tool allows the creation of interactive and multimedia learning content – of small learning units and complex e-learning courses, of interactive exercises and tests. The courses can be used on the platform, exported towards other WebWeaver® platforms, learning management systems such as Moodle (via SCORM 1.2) and also be used offline.
Cooperation and communication
Online courses can be complemented by different online tools for individual learning as well as for cooperation and communication among the course members. This allows equipping learning groups with tools for the cooperative creation of content, for discussion, for individual support or for preparing face-to-face courses.

The structure of WebWeaver® Education can be adapted to the needs of the individual training provider. Different platform sections can be created for editorial content and for cooperation. Interactive features turn the learning platform into a learning community. The system administration allows to create and to manage the users and courses.
An intranet for internal cooperation
WebWeaver® Education also provides a comprehensive online working environment and can thus serve as an intranet for the training provider. Protected online working spaces can be equipped with tools such as file storage, mail service, calendars and resource management. They support collaboration anywhere and at any time and make it transparent. The user rights for whole groups as well as for individual users are managed in the system administration.
Saving money
The centrally provided services of WebWeaver® Education complement or even substitute existing IT infrastructures, most notably those of mail and file servers. So the training provider potentially saves money for IT infrastructure and its support.
